Burnham PV73WB boiler

I have a leaking PV7 boiler. I am a second owner. I have been reading the threads concerning the leaking problems with the PV7's . The previous owner was able to patch the leak and it held until last winter when I became aware of it. I have owned the house for 5 years. It was installed in 1995. Is there any possibility of help from Burnham on repair/replace. One replacement estimate I received was $6900. Not really prepared to spend that.
Any suggestions?

I don't recall the deal with that, but you should probably contact Burnham about it.

Any suggestions?
Do a heat loss calculation on the home so that if it does come down to a replacement boiler, at least you will get one that is properly sized.
