relay for pump on boiler

boiler recir pump

will not shut off and runs all the time til i shut off power at switch, could this be the thermostat, this is an american standard furnace

It this a boiler or a furnace? A furnace supplies hot air, boiler provides hot water or steam heat. Two different animals. It sounds like you have a boiler with hot water heat. Are their zone valves on the system? A zone valve is a small gray box mounted on the pipes with 4 wires coming out.

relay for pump on boiler

my pump on my boiler keeps running, its not a zone pump i believe the person that wired the relay crossed some wires. 24v relay 6 prong 1-3 open 1-2 closed 4-6 open and 5 what is the proper wiring

Post the make and model number of the furnace or post some pictures of the pump control if it is a boiler.

American boiler gpm6 relay wiring coil wires 1 black wire from fuse 2- brown to motor 3-red to motor 1-2 closed and 3 open soon as i plug in relay pump starts

Why don't you call the guy that did the wiring and tell him to fix it?
