Not enough heat getting generated from radiators - Please help
Not sure how to describe the issue. I just got a new heating system installed weil mclain cga-6 boiler. I have 3 zones (basement, first floor, second floor). I fired up the boiler on saturday (got cold in nyc). Set my thermostats to 73 (temp was 66 in the house). All the radiators are giving off heat but the thermostats never got more than 68 degrees. I spoke to my plumber he said everything from the boiler side looks good to him. I'm not really sure what to do, any suggestions? I had the heat on the entire night yesterday and it never got above 68. The house is about 1800 sq ft.

You need to get your installer back, big time. Doesn't make any difference how it "looks" to him - performance is key.

what could be the issue, we just switched from a steam system to water based. Got pex tubing all over the house, he is blaming it on the people who wired the radiators.

Did you have different people install the boiler and pipe up the system? If so, there could be finger-pointing - and you may be in the middle.

well i had one person install the radiators and run all the pex piping from the radiators to the basement boiler room, and the plumber Who installed the boiler. Typically if a room is 67 and thermostat is set to 70, how long should it to take to reach the desired temp?
