Quiet side DPW120
Hello
Last night after a bout of frigid temps, we awoke to the house considerably colder than usual. Took a look at the boiler to see that it is not running and had an error code of Ad which according to the manual looks like the s trap needs to be cleaned. Does anyone have a write up Or instructions to do this?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Check first that the discharge tube has not froze up or is blocked.
The discharge tube should not be installed such that it can freeze, so if it is, take corrective action.
I believe if you need to clean the trap assembly, the front cover of the boiler is removed and the trap assembly is right there...

Yes the discharge tube is not frozen as it discharges to a pump which then feeds it to the same drain pipe that my wash uses.
I attached a couple of photo's as i'm not exactly sure what i'm looking for. I'm assuming its the white plastic with the black tube that connects at the top?
And how would I go about cleaning it?
Thanks again

I do believe it's that white tank... but I've not worked on one of these so can't really advise... downloading the manual now to take a look and see if there's anything that will help in there.

Ok I do recall seeing a cap at the bottom
I think you can see in this photo. So just remove the cap and it will drain out to clean?
Also if you can send a link for the manual that would be great!
Thanks agsin

Came home and simply drained that tank. A bunch of sediment and a bit of debris came out with the water and peering up into the hole was a filter that I could see would get clogged with the stuff that came out. So hopefully it should be all set. Thanks again for all your help
