Changing Tank Filter

I would like to change my oil tank fuel filter myself in between tune ups but I seem to be having trouble finding out which filter I need for my tank. My fuel tank has a plain silver canister with the words "Micro-Flow" and "Oil Filter No. 264" in raised lettering on the top of the canister. I have searched the web but only seem to come up with products from "General." Mostly a "1A25B." Is there some kind of cross reference for filters? If not then where can I find a "Micro-Flow 264" filter?

Thanks much!

I also use the 264 Micro-Flow Filter; but mine reads with a trailing 2 digits . . . . like 264-48.

I get them for the princely sum of $1.58 from my oil supplier, who obtains them from Sid Harvey:

Thanks for the info. My canister does not have any trailing digits. Just says "Filter 264." So at least I know that they come from Sid Harvey now. Maybe I can call them and narrow it down to a specific part.

I believe that's made by "MITCO".

Not sure about the -48 or -36, but it seems that the General 1A-25 filter fits some of them.

Sid's may be able to help, but I would call Patriot Supply:
