My Whirlpool with honeywell control. my pilot light would not come on, i replaced the thermopile it started working fine. Pilot came on and burner was working fine. Now it makes a load noise and you can see a blue flame on the gas vent. see attached pic for you to see the problem? what could be the issue? any help would be appreciated

It's very hard to tell from that picture what is going on but shut the burner down if it doesn't sound right. It appears you may have a gas leak.... you don't want an explosion there.

Don't see any video ?

No... you cannot post video's directly here. They must be hosted like you did on you tube. I converted your link to a direct one.

There is a dark blue access cover that comes off and you can look inside. I can hear your burner and it doesn't sound right. I can't tell exactly what it's doing. It almost sounds line the burner is starving for air.

Here is the history on this. a few days ago the pilot would not come on. So i diagnosed it with the whirlpool support it was the thermopile, i changed the thermopile and it got pilot and the burner came on. I made sure to clean the air intakes that are on the bottom to make sure there was no dirt or obstruction. It was working fine for a a day or so, but everytime someone takes shower and this loud sound and blue flame appears. I have it off and safety gas valve turned off just to make sure it does not cause any further harm, until i have a fix..any help would be appreciated

My Whirlpool with Honeywell control is exhibiting similar behavior as in the video that was posted. Same look and sound. Was there any fix or solution to this?
