Question Takagi T-K1s Tankless Water Heater Main Board

HI! There!! This my 1st post, Great to be among all u DIY ers. I have a Takagi T-k1s tankless water heater which i installed about 5 yrs. It gets low useage per year and hasn't needed any service , although i need to do a flush., were i am the temps got down to -27C , although the unit has a sensor and heater , i overlooked the backflow vent to stop cold air getting into the tank and freezing the pipes,, even though i had a extra small heater near the unit the 1/2 " pipe split about 3/4 of inch,,, but water damaged the main board ,,i have repaired the pipe , but was wondering if there is a reputable business to repair it ?? Or should i just get a new board cost about $183.U.S. plus shipping To Canada,, OH and a back flow vent .Sorry for the long post . Thks for any ideas. Brett

Welcome to the forums.

Those boards are not repairable. It needs to be replaced.
Your price on the EKN08 board is pretty good. I've seen them from $275-500.

After resetting dip switches and rebooting it looks like my Takagi T-k1s main board is revived , just can't fully test it yet. That will be amazing and will save several hundred. Free drinks for all.
