Ignitor
I have an issue with the ignitor on my boiler system going out, had a certified tech into service my boiler and he said the ignitor was bad and replaced it. the system worked all winter but next winter the ignitor went out again so i replaced it and it went out within days of changing it. The circuit board flashes 3 three indicating ignitor lockout, what could be causing this.

I'm not one of the experts here but I think you will be asked by them for some information to identify your system. What is the make of the boiler and the controls (especially the control with the circuit board you refer to).
They may be able to help without that but IMHO you should get that ready.
(I wonder if your control is at fault and is erroneously reporting ignitor problems)

Welcome to the forums.
Igniter lockout doesn't necessarily mean a defective igniter. It can mean the igniter was locked out because something in the start up chain failed.
As zoesdad mentioned..... system information is needed.
