31 yo working Burnham P-204-WMM 96 MBH hot water boiler - should I replace?

Hi,
I have a 31 yo working heating system (hot water boiler), Burnham P-204-WMM ,96 MBH, working on Gas. It is 79% efficient

I was thinking of replacing to a >95% AFUE , before it fails (which most likely will happen in the worst timing)

What holds me up is that I was told that new & efficient systems are less reliable and require more maintenance

Any recommendations? Any recommended reliable firms? I was offered Rinnai E110.

Thanks,
