V8043 Zone Valve Questions

I have a boiler with hot water baseboards. One of my two V8043 zone valves does not always turn on the main burner. I took the cover off the PowerHead, and the little lever that supposed to contact that micro switch stops about one millimeter short. Bump it with my finger and boiler kicks in. Worked fine for 8-10 days, then same thing.
Zone valves are at least 20yr old. Gears on motor look fine.
Also, small amount of water seeping out. Looks like 4 screws that attach the Head to the valve.
Q.1. Is there a gasket or O ring between the Head & valve? (Part # or size) (can't find a parts diagram)
Q.2. Can I access that 'ball' with the Head off?
Q.3. Do I need a new PowerHead if I need that PowerHead Conversion plate?
Q.4. Is the problem more likely the motor or the actual valve (corrosion, debris)?

Update: I switched motors between the 2 powerheads. But, probably have to wait for winter to see results.

Why...... you can try it now.
If you have a cold start boiler.... either zone calling for heat will start the boiler.

You'd need to get a 272742A parts kit for the leaking valve. You can use the number to search for part. You will probably need to replace the motor too.

Hoenywell service info portal ...... Click on Literature tab.

Thanks. That was useful.
What I learned today: I have a leaky O-ring. Part #272756 is no longer available separately. Must get 272742 parts kit, or Powerhead Conversion Kit - which also means I would need a new compatible Powerhead.
I'd like to have the O-ring "in hand" before I disassemble.
Searched online for O-ring. Several others have also searched for it with no luck.
If someone knows where a person can get only the O-ring or the exact spec/size of it - that would be great!
I tried a couple suppliers, got this:-
Subtotal:------------------- $18.40
Shipping & Handling: $20.78
Estimated Tax:-----------$00.00
Total:------------------------$39.18 - - - - - FOR 5 (FIVE) O-rings - LOL

Again, if anyone has the dimensions........

The partial/incomplete opening is often due to teeth wear on the quarter round brass gear. Replacing only the motor is of little help.
