Boiler fires after breaker reset

It can be either once or twice a week or once in a month but at some point the boiler will not fire, I shut the breaker off, move some wires around, switch the breaker back on and it fires. Any ideas? I had a technician here last year and he did the same thing as me and wasn’t sure. Weil-McLain CGi. I don’t know how to post a pic or I would

Sounds like a loose wire(s). Follow the wires and make sure all connections are tight.

Welcome to the forums.

Doesn't sound like loose wires.
When you shut the power off you are resetting the controller that has faulted.

How can you tell it’s not loose wires? The sequence is:

(1) Breaker OFF (2) Move wires (3) Breaker ON (4) Success

I would assume “Move wires” would have been skipped if not needed.

The member feels moving the wires has dome something. Maybe but doubtful
The member is assuming he has moved something loose.
Just turning power off and restoring it resets the controller.

Yea - that's probably the best bet.
