New thermostat question

I want to replace my White rodgers 1f 35-210 heat only controlling a 3 wire 1311 wr zone a flow valve. I ordered this from supply house 1e 56n-444 says replacement old one discontinued. Does any one know what wires would go where on the new one. Will this be no problem when it arrives. Says something about comes with 3 wire baseplate. Remove subbase. It will be heat only. Thanks.

R,
How many wires control your current stat. Because you have a 3 wire zone valve it doesn't mean you have 3 wires going to your stat.

Chances are with a heat only stat you will just use 2 terminals. RED & WHITE on the stat but check to see what you are currently using.

Hope this helps a little.

Thanks for reply. Not sure. Looks like wires are mounted on back side. But i did find original box the old therm came in. It said to make sure zone valve is working. Jump 4 to 5 for open and 5 to 6 to close. Therefore 4=open 6=close and 5 must be power. Also i found this. https://s3.amazonaws.com/s3.supplyho...20Overview.pdf scroll down and it says Terminal Wallplate (for heat or cool only
and 3-wire zone valve applications and has wiring diagram

The problem with it is this. Its like always 5 degrees off. Right now its working. So i don't want to mess with it.

With that new stat you would connect your existing two wires to Rh and W.
They can be connected to either terminal.... no polarity.
