suggestions to fix or replacing tank less water systems

Our 2 tank less water systems are shot during lightning. We are working on replacing them. One option is to fix them with the budget of $1500 (replace boards). These are 10 year old one without doing any maintenance for last 5 years. Plumber is still not sure about this fix.

Other option is to replace them. Insurance suggested to replace them. They paid some money after deductible based on the cost of replacement. If we go this route, can we just get one tank less water system instead of 2. We have 4 full batch but we are family of 4. We won't be using more than 2 batch rooms at a time. Feels like one can do the job. After deductible, we are only left for money replace 1 system.

What are out best options as well? is it worth fixing 10 year old units or go with one new modern unit.

Thanks

Thanks for the information. We have 2 Rheem RTG-74PVN-2 tankless water heater systems installed by builder. They are approximately 10-11 years old. We are thinking about replacing these 2 with one high capacity unit.

Hi,
Thanks for the information. i will take the pics and uploaded. We are working with plumber. They gave me $1600 estimates to replace circuit boards. Other option is to replace these 2 old units with one high capacity latest model with the cost estimate of $3995. I am trying to get the details of estimate from plumber.
