High boiler delta t
My 10 year old boiler has a 36F temperature rise across the heat exchanger at 100% fire. This seems like it's on the high side. Not certain if it was this high when installed, but I doubt it. Maybe because of restricted hx or weak pump. This system otherwise is working ok.
My question is what is the upside and downside of running the boiler like this, and whether I should change anything. My thought is that I'm losing some output power, but that doesn't seem to be an issue. I don't want to stress out the hx and reduce the life of the boiler, or cause some other problem, and I'll upsize the pump if necessary.
Setup: 110K Peerless Purefire condensing boiler, primary/secondary piping with a Taco 007 on the primary. Install manual calls for 008 or 007. Pushing pump zoned high mass cast iron radiation and an indirect DHW.

Thinking about this a little more I wonder if replacing the 007 with a more powerful ecm pump like an Alpha2 would pay for itself with thermal and electric savings and get me a normal delta T.
