Honewell V8043F1036F1036 zone valve

One of my 3 zone return lines to my oil boiler comes from below. In order to install the zone valve in the correct flow direction, it puts the wire connections on the bottom. Anyway to get these connections on top ?

8,
Without pics it's impossible to see what you have. If you're installing this valve new it can also go on the supply line if that is easier.

The valve is already soldered in place. I took the motor off, and switched the cover over the valve area around to put the electrical contacts on top. However, when I put the valve in auto position, it does not close. (I have not wired the valve yet, just moving the manual lever ). I can feel the hot water moving through the valve.

Maybe, when wired it will operate?

or

Maybe there is a different way to do this? the photo should show the arrow pointing up, I dont know how to rotate the photos.

or, maybe I should just reassemble the valve as it was and just wire the contacts from the bottom ?

I believe you have the motor on backwards. The manual lever should face the opposite direction of the arrow, most likely the way it was as the pic in fig 7 shows in the install instructions in the above sight.
