Thermostat for Vitodens 100 modcon boiler
Do "smart" thermostats make sense to install with modulating condensing boilers? If so, gas company rebates may make it worth purchasing.
Currently I keep the thermostat temperature setting constant throughout the day and week.
I have a Vitodens 100 WB1B boiler (installed in 2011) with one heating circuit, outdoor reset (and no low-loss header).
Thanks for your comments.

Welcome to the forums.
Not really a candidate for a smart thermostat.
In my opinion.....smart thermostats are basically a novelty item.
I use a basic programmable thermostat and that suites my needs fine.
There are some things that a smart thermostat does that are useful.
It can monitor the ambient temperature and let you know when it's above/below a certain set point. This is a good feature at a summer or winter home where someone isn't living there.
Thru the apps.... you can track energy usage of system.
