rain and concrete

I poured part of my driveway and it began to rain/ I had the drive bullfloated when it started/ so I covered it with visqueen. The rain continued throughtout the day when the rain let up a little I was able to float the surface and cover again before the rain began to get harder. What I'm left with is a floated surface that will have some of the plastic marks on the surface, my question is how to match the broom finish of the previous pour. Can I take some portland and sand in a slurry and broom? Will that adhere to the floated surface? Thanks

Unfortunately, you are stuck with the cured surface. A broomed on cement dlurry will just crack and peel off.
