new cement cracked already

i know there is no guarantee that cement wont crack, but this was the first day after the pour
should i expect my cocrete guy to come and fix this ?
I also noticed some pitch problems where the water just sits in one spot until I brush it away and water runs into my garage instead of away.
I called my concrete guy to complain and expect a call back shortly, but I wanted to ask you folks if these are issues that should be corrected by the contractor OR do i just have to live with it as its too late now.
Any suggestions

If the slab is not supposed to drain into the garage, it shouldn't. Proper drainage is a grading and framing, pouring, finishing issue that he would have had control over. Unless he put the concrete over someone else's grading and forms.

It should not have cracked already. Size and expansion joints affect this in the long run, but bad mix and improper curing come to mind, too.

What does the contract say? Good or bad, concrete is forever. You ought to be satisfied before he is paid.

Hope this helps.
