Cutting concrete

I am looking for a cheap alternative for cutting concrete. I need to cut only about 3 feet of concrete that is maybe 3" thick. It is part of an old patio, and I want to straighten out the edges. Any ideas? Can I buy a diamond blade for my circular saw? The rentals that I have seen for concrete saws run about $60/4 hrs (with a blade). Its seem like a lot for such a small job.

Thanks,

Dan

Buy a masonry blade for your circular saw. Score the crete as deepy as possible then break the rest with a sledge. You're gonna raise a LOT of dust so a mask is a good idea....

buy a couple just in case or to get it deeper for a clean break. Those blades arent very expensive. Remember to cut a little at a time for maximum performance.
