concrete slab removal

I am going to be removing a 6ft x 6ft concrete slab, (approx) 6 inches thick. It is graded incorrectly towards the house and pools. It is right up against the foundation of the house on 2 sides. Prior to jackhammering should I try to cut along the edge with a masonry blade on a circular saw, or will the jackhammering do the trick? Thanks.

If you are talking about the edge against the foundation chances are that you wont need a saw. If it looks like its connected together then you will.
