hi there. lots of good info on this site and thought i would run this by you. i put a bird feeder in the middle of my back yard last fall.i figured i would have to pour some concrete or put pavers under it at some time. now that the birds[and my pet pig] have outlined the area iwill do one or the other.i thought a concrete slab[it will be about 6 ft in diamater] would do the trick but my wife would like to put some some of those little stones,[pebbles?] on top to dress it up a little. would i just pour the slab,let it set up a little than spingle some stones on top and than set the stones with a trowel or is there more to it than that. thanks in advance
