New Home footings question

Construction has finally begun on our new home and the foundation was excavated last Thursday. Concrete was poured into the trenches on Friday. My question is : how long does the concrete have to cure in order for work to proceed? The home will have a 3 ft crawl space.

I don't really know how long it takes for the concrete to set but, When they poured my footings they laid the block the next day. I remember him saying something about 12 hours. Hope this helps, like I said I'm no expert, Just posting from my little experince of watching them do mine

Concrete takes over 30 days to fully cure if it's kept moist (as it should be), but it's often built on the next day. Your footers shouldn't be a problem. If it were a slab, care would be needed to prevent gouging the concrete.
