Repair cut by saw in concrete

Hi,
I had my concrete foundation cut to put in a window. I have a couple 1/4 inch by 10 inch overcut from the saw blade.
It will take a long time to fix this with hydraulic cement.
Can I fix by putting shims in first (pressure treated, electrical outlet box covers) and then putting the hydraulic cement?
Does anybody have any ideas?

Thanks

You may be able to use a concrete repair product in a tube such as at this site to repair the cuts.

http://www.quikrete.com/diy/RepairingConcrete.html

Hope this helps.

Thanks
Do you think I should put metal shims in to add strength?
I called Quikrete and the the help desk said to use a sand mix I would think a sand mix would become brittle over time and crack. The overcut is pretty deep.
