Slab for Hot Tub.... how thick?

I'm planning on putting a 6-8 person Hot Tub in the back yard next to my Patio and was wondering how thick I should make the Concrete Slab to set it on and how long it will need to cure before I can set the Hot Tub on it. Thanx

Well, 4" would be the least you could pour, and should be adequate. But you could go 6" for peace of mind, and with no more than you'd need, their shouldn't be that much difference in price.

Hot tub concrete slab

Has anyone used Quickcrete prepackaged concrete mix to create a slab for a Hot Tub?

I was told you can just set up your forms as normal and then pour the bags in, add water and let it set.

Will this work?

Thanks,

Sean
