Driveway Paving

Hi,
I've just rebuilt a stone block wall and have suddenly found that my 1 car driveway gained about 2-3 feet in needed width As it is, I 've been thinking about making this 2 cars wide to be approximately 24(wide)x 34(length).
I'm about to start calling for estimates but wondering if anybody has any ball park guess's as to what I may be looking at to remove & repave a driveway of this size. I'm in Central Maine where there are about 12-15 paving contractors listed in the phone book.
I 'm just don't want to get ripped off so any guesses may be helpful. (Is there an average per square foot or square yard cost??

Thanks,

JEFF

get three estimates

I can't help with a guess on the cost. But to make sure you pay a fair price, get at least three estimates. Make sure these estimates list what is to be done.
Then sit down and compare the estimates. Make sure you compare apples to apples (ie - look at what each will do for the estimate given).
I usually recommend selecting the middle estimate.

Est for Pavers

Hey,

I just completed repaving my driveway and walkway. It cost me about $10 sqf. Good luck!
