Foundation ?
I have a question about caring for the foundation of my home. It's a concrete slab foundation. I live in Dallas, Tx where the summers get pretty hot and dry. I wanted to know what would be the best way to care for it to ensure that it lasts for many years. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Post Tension Slab
If you have a properly installed and professionally engineered slab for your home, there is no maintenance you will be faced with at all, and certainly nothing you can do to enhance your slab's longevity.
If the slab has been properly created, it should outlive you and many of your descendants.
You can alleviate some problems by assuring proper drainage from water and roof rain runoff.
But for the most part, if properly engineered and placed, even in poor soil conditions, a slab will last many generations with no maintenance whatever.
