gap between garage floor and driveway

I have a gap between my garage floor and my driveway that has increased to 2" over the years. I was told I should fill it in to stop the cracks in my garage floor. Any suggestions short of re-pouring my driveway?

Thanks,
Matt

You can fill the bulk of the gap with the fibrous material used for expansion joints in concrete, and top it off with the elastomeric filler caulk available at the box stores.

The driveway is evidently not monolithic with the garage floor, so some movement seems inevitable. Unless water is seeping under the garage through the gap and freezing to heave the slab, I don't see what the gap has to do with cracking in the garage floor.
