Gutters are being installed, but need tips on how to improve grading.

My home sits on a large corner lot that has predominantly good grading. However, there are two areas -- the SW and SE corners that are neutrally sloped until they reach the front side of the patio which extends directly from the middle of my home's south side. The ground begins to slope from the patio's front line.
Does anyone have any idea(s) for how to improve the grading in these two areas? It's clear that the builder built the patio on neutrally sloped ground because it may not have been possible to build it on a slope, but it's created a problem in that the area that extends between the foundation wall and the patio's front line is ALSO not sloping.
I hope someone can offer me some sound advice. Thank you!!!

You could raise a bed near the house to help direct water away. Beds around the patio, tilled and mulched deeply can help hold water until it percolates away through the soil. A yard drain with a line running to the slope may help, too.
