Question installing window box on brick house

Hi, super-amateur DIYer here: I have a brick house and would like to install window boxes for flowers on 2 of my front windows. Can this be done? the window wells (not sure if terminology is correct) are cement and of course surrounding area is all brick. If anyone can lead me on the right path re: what to do and look for when shopping it would be very helpful!

Thanks in advance,
Peeth

If the window boxes come supplied with brackets for mounting them, attach the brackets to the brick by drilling holes into the mortar and inserting plastic anchors sized for the screws to hold the brackets in place.

Hope this helps.
