Help! I need to pour concrete into 12 footers for my mobile home!

I am practically clueless when it comes to masonry. I have twelve footers 2 ft. by 2 ft. wide and 3 ft. deep. It will cost too much for me to pay someone to come in and fill them, so I wanted to find out how much cement mix I will need. And do I need gravel and sand? Please help! Any tips would be greatly appreciated! oops! Also I'm not shure what type of cement mix I will need, and I do need to do this as inexpensively as possible.

You will need at least 144 cubic feet of concrete or about 6 cubic yards. This would be about 216 bags of sakrete at 2 - 3 dollars a bag. Otherwise, you will need equal parts cement, gravel, and sand.

Anyway, I have found that it is hard to beat the price of ready mix if there is any significant amount of concrete involved. If the concrete were $100 a yard delivered, it would be significantly cheaper than buying the materials yourself and hauling them home. To say nothing of the time and labor involved.

Hope this helps.
