Cutting hardcoat stucco above ground

My pest inspector (in GA) suggested I cut the hardcoat stucco around my home perimeter so that it's 6" above ground to keep termites from getting behind it. What tool is best for this and what would be the best way to accomplish this? The stucco is over metal lathe.

Thanks for the help.

Try a diamond blade or concrete disc, then maybe follow up with a metal disc to get through the lath

I'll give it a shot. I just bought a new angle grinder to do the work.

I have two more questions:

1) Will the stucco remaining below the cut line against the foundation be difficult to remove? I don't think the lathe would be attached to the concrete. I want to know if I need another type of small electric hammer to chunk it off the foundation.
2) What is the best way to cut it out from behind electrical/telephone pipes? Drill small holds and use a chisel?

Thanks for the help!
