Question concrete acid wash finish

I saw a concete finish that was acid washed with muratic acid. It gave a soft look to the finish. Could anyone tell me the procedure for this.

What do you mean a "soft look to the finish"? Was the concrete stamped or colored? What kind of "finish" do you mean?

Wink concrete finish

Well I figured out how to do it. I had just poured a new concrete patio and wanted a finish that I had seen a couple years ago. I waited two days and then washed the finish with muratic acid. If you do this be prepared to deal with fumes. I would only do it outside. After scrubbing the surface with muratic acid and a long handle brush I hosed all the acid off. I then scrubbed the concrete with another very stiff brush to remove the remainder of the top finish. What is left is a soft sand look. I then put two coats of a wet concrete sealer on the finish. What I have for a final finish is a wet look that glistens the different colors of the sand in the light.
