seal driveway

I want to reseal my driveway. When the driveway was new the installer used an oil base product. Everything I see at the local home improvement store is water base. Which is better? If oil is the way to go where can I get it?
Thanks,
mdino

Correct me if i am wrong; but I'd say that after the driveway cures for several years, you may use either.
I do not know which is the better......

First - go to a concrete supplier, not the local big box.
Second, either will work. There are good water-based sealers available, now. I don't know if they are available to the diyer.
