Sealing Driveway
I have an asphalt (?) driveway -- I think. Is it better to reseal now before the winter or wait?
I see these resealer kits at home depot. Used to pay a company to do it in our old house. Thought I'd try it on my own??

If it looks a little worn with some cracks, do it before winter.
Asphalt driveways can have a short life if you do not mainatain them. The asphalt dries our and loses its resiliancy and must be coated to extend its life. If you have wider cracks, they must be filled before coating the area.
It is a DIY project that anyone can do.

Dick, thanks for the feedback. Actually, it doesnt have cracks or anything -- just looks faded is all. I originally planned on doing it in spring but thought, maybe, it would benefit from the extra protection during the winter?
