Removing Paint from Brick

My house is brick but the previous owner painted a large part of it white. How can I remove the paint without damaging the brick. I have heard that presure washing will nock out the mortor? Any ideas.

Thanks,
Mark

I would think a sandblaster would remove the paint, but I'm not sure how well the brick would stand up to it.

Do not sandblast brick, it will ruin it, the hardest part of any brick is the outside. Go to ibacktonature.com for any stripper, it is good stuff and wont burn your skin.
