Smile Help with my concrete yard please.

I had a new concrete yard renewed 2 year ago,
Initially after it dried out I sealed it with pva,
As we were getting white foot marks on the carpet when people were entering the property, But after sealing with pva it was fine,
But now in the past month there is a huge amount of concrete dust building up on the surface,
And I can sweep 3 or 4 shovel fulls of this up every other day,
Do I need to re seal now and is pva up to the job,
Thanks for your help.

Defective Concrete

Concrete 'dusting' indicates faulty concrete or concrete finishing.

It usually occurs in cold weather mixes when calcium or other additives are included in the mix to prevent freezing, but it can also occur when concrete is poured in bad weather conditions such as rain.

Some 'fixes' might be possible but can be just as expensive as jackhammering out the concrete and replacing it. These include adding 'hardening' chemicals or sealers or having the concrete surface ground.

Properly finished and mixed concrete should not dust and not need any sealers.
