block retaining wall

I LOOKING FOR help with making a versa block retaining wall ...im digging a fish pond 3 feet in the ground and will need to go 18 inches above ground...does anyone have experience with retaining stacking block walls...i read info on versa block web site, but it i will not be back filling behind wall, there will be liner and water..basically im wondering if there wall pin system is sturdy enough to hold 18 inches of water....overall pond will be 20' x10'x5' deep...thanks for any help or ideas...

I presume you will be using a liner. If so, the answer is yes. It would be best to move the Versa-lok wall out about 12" and use dirt to ramp the edge up, though.
