sidewalk repair

I have a sidewald that is starting to crmble in a certain area down to the gravel. I want to repair it. Can I just use quickcrete and smooth out the area? Does it come in a just add water formula? And does it work pretty good? Do I just mix the concrete, pour it in, and smooth, or is there more to it?

Thanks,

First, remove the entire damaged section of concrete down to the soil (or sand, stone, whatever). Follow the instructions on the bags of concrete mix (just add water, but the right amount!). Place and smooth with a concrete float, then texture as desired (usually with a broom for slip resistance). Good luck.
