Foundation Vents

Foundation Vents

OK, my son has carelessly taken our weedeater and damaged our Fountdation vents. Is there any way to replace or repair these vents? Please help.

Just cut out the old one and replace with the same size, use construction adhesive to hold it in place.

foundation vents.

1982crew.
There are two ways to do it. If it is the screen mesh that is ripped just obtain a piece of door screening and patch it into the rip. Tedious but can be done just like a screen door.
The other way is to measure the present vent go to a local supply stoe and obtain a new one. HD, and Lowes, sell replacement vents. I did (HD ourchase) mine because they were the old type ( manually slide open and close), and ripped, and replaced them in about twenty minutes. No big deal, they bolt in. Or as stated use some construction adhesive behind the overlao and you are done.

Fountdation vents need to be torn out and put out for the trash man!
