cracked foundation
How should I go about repairing a cracked foundation?Its8' poured concrete.the basement is finished so it must be done from the outside.the crack is near a corner and may actually wrap around the corner.All but 2' is below grade.the house is 30yrs. old but does not seem to have shifted.,all doors and windows function well.help anyone?

To fix it, you should excavate the area around the corner and have an engineer look at it to determine the cause and method of repair. If it goes around the corner, it is likely the crack is on both sides of the wall.
If it is a "dead" crack, as opposed to an "active" crack, epoxy injection is a likely method. I would not just call and epoxy invection firm since they may do that for no other reason than it is their businees. An independent opinion is best in this case.
A poured wall is not as easy to repair as a block wall, so injection is most likely. Replacement is very remote based on your description.
The location is unusual, but it cound have been a result of equipment damage during careles backfilling.
