Techo Bloc Polymeric Sand

Hello All,

I have the Grinnell 5 piece vintage pavers installed on my patio. I was having problems with drainage (I have the nastiest clay soil you could imagine) so I decided to use the Techo Bloc Polymeric sand to try and seal up the joints a bit and help skate the water across the block. Well, I did not realize that the excess polymeric sand has to be completely removed from the surface of the block. Any ideas how a can get this excess off the block without damaging things or making a complete mess?

Any help would be appreciated!

The ploy sand activates when it is wet. It will become pliable and allow your pavers to flex and also allow some water to pass through.
Get you patio as wet as possible. Use a stiff bristle brush and scrub vigorously.
The other option is again get the patio wet, then use a pressure washer to remove the sand. Keep in mind this will knock out some of the poly sand in the joints.
