Sealing elevated parking slab for waterproofing

Hi,

I'm wanting to apply a waterproof sealant to an elevated parking slab to allow for the construction of a room below. Currently when it rains, water will seep throught he slab & drip down below. I'm looking for a product that looks like concrete & won't peel like paint!

Here's a link to a picture to get a better idea:

Any ideas?

Where is the water coming from - throughthe concrete, around the concrete or through cracks?

You may be better off looking at sealing the top and edges.

Thumbs down

Water is coming through a few hairline cracks in the slab...and around the edges. Check out the picture link I just added:

Last summer I added a densifier...don't know what good it did however.

Also, I'm in a freeze/thaw climate...and I just do not want any water penetration! The whole slab could crash down!

Thanks,

Mas

Concrete sealers are not waterproofers. They offer some water repellancy, and certainly slow down the water. They are more "water resistant" than waterproof. Good waterproofers are usually some type of thicker, elastic membrane or mastic. Have you googled concrete waterproofers to see what you can come up with?
