Cold climate outdoor tile?
I live in Minnesota and am starting to see tile over concrete more often here. I know this used to be a no-no.
Has something changed? Some new product that makes tile in cold climates last?
I would love to tile my front stoop but have been reluctant.

Frost proof tiles for outdoor use have been around for a long time. What's popular in certain areas of the country tend to change and may take awhile to catch on. If considering outdoor tile, make sure that it is rated for outdoors and frostproof like porcelain or quarry tile and can withstand freeze and thaw. Paver tiles are popular.
