Astro turf glue removal from concrete

I live in a townhome in California and when we bought our unit 8 years ago the patio was completely covered with astro turf. We want to remove it and just utilize the concrete underneath or we may consider staining the concerete. Although the astro turf was glued, it is not still adhering the turf which can be pulled up very easily but there is still a hard, dried on yellowy substance sticking in spots on the concrete. We realize scraping is going to be involved but we're wondering if there is anything else we can do to make it easier to remove.

steam cleaner, or use a heat gun but you will have to scrape the glue as you heat it.

Look for a product called SoyGel from Franmar Chemical. It will strip the glue fairly easily. Google it.
