Exclamation Need help with finish of freshly poured slab

I have a slab 840 sq feet poured one week ago. Jun 4th 2008. The day turned out not the best and it rained all afternoon and into the night. I attempted to power trowel the next morning but I am afraid I overworked the slab and now I have a scally finish.... Can anyone tell me a logical fix so I can have a good finish? Any help will be appreciated. The slab is 4' thick.

Please I want to build on the slab ASAP but I want a finish I can sweep clean if you know what i mean!

Thanks..

Try an epoxy like the one used on garage floors.

You will need to scrabble the surface, powerwash it, then use a bonding agent on the surface before you trowel on a very expensive repair mortar. It is almost better to break it out and start over.
