decorative concrete stain durability

Thinking about useing a product from rust-oleum called semi transparent concrete stain.Suppose to have the ability to make walk ways, patios and other cement areas look like stone.Says it will not chip or peel.
We live in Iowa where the winters are harsh, lots of shoveling of snow and freezing rain.In the mid to late summer gets extremely hot and high humidity.
Anyone have any experience with this magical stuff?
I've tried paints in garage floors just to peel a 2 lane track and stains on decks just to have to re-do every 2 years. Not looking to creat more work.Anyone have any thoughts?

To me, the beauty of concrete and stone is it's maintenance free. At least it is until you use a product like that. Don't waste your time and money.

I agree with Pulpo; a waste of money. A pigmented stain like that is no more than a thinned down paint...and we all know that paint is not permanent, especially on concrete.
