concrete footer

what size footer should i use in florida under a screen room, and if it is an exterior entryway enclosure would i need it sprayed for termites?

I'm not quite sure what you're asking. Are you talking about a ribbon wall or are you using tubes? Codes are different everywhere. It's better to ask someone there. Here we have a frost line so we have to go down 3 feet.

What does the manufracture speck for the system. Also Florida dosen't freeze. A footer is for weight and depth and can't freeze to work properly. I am a contractor and here there are two basic footers. One is a below grade which here is 3 feet deep and 2 feet wide ( backhoe bucket ) thee other is a frost footer wich can be poured with slab poor and the edges roll and go down 18" below finish grade. Personally I would do a slab pour with 4 " concrete 3500 psi with 6 by 6 10 guage wire in the floor and the edges would be min 8"thick by 8"thick with 2 runs of 1l2 rebar and also drill and tie that into the house foundation slab. I would also 2b crushed stone under the slap with a vapor barries on top of that and then concrete floor. Check you local codes.
