Should I sealed my sloped asphalt driveway?

I have a 2 yr old 30'x30' asphalt driveway that is sloping up at 15-20 degrees (by my rough estimate) to my garage. When the asphalt was laid I was told by the contractor not to seal it because it'll be too slippery for cars to drive on. It has now developed cracks and a indentation (about 1'x1'). I plan on repairing the cracks in the spring (I live in CT).

After repairing should I seal the driveway with sealer (I believe they add sand) that's specially for sloped driveways to give it more traction? Will it be too slippery to drive on when wet? What sealer would you recommend?

I wouldn't seal it. It's a maitenance free surface but it won't be anymore if you seal it. Fix the cracks and leave it.
