Question Brick at same level as bottom plate?

Hello all. I am fixing to enclose my carport. Its about 12' wide x 28' deep. On the 16" long side there is a 4x4 in the middle and of course one on the end. I am actually going to attempt to reclaim enough brick from the LR wall (inside left side of carport and the front wall where front car bumper would be) to at least fill back in the front wall and maybe a 2' high wall down the long side. The from there up with some cement siding to the soffet.

My main question is since there is no brick ledge like on a new construction house, is there any sort of flashing I need to go behind the brick, in between the OSB sheathing/vapor barrior??

As of now I am going to silcone really good under the bottom plate and along the edges. Is that sufficent or is something else needed?

Thanks,
Carito

Regardless of if there is a brick ledge, the standard flashing detail should be used:

Detail No.13
