plug up weep holes at bottom of house with mortar?

My neighbor has just told me that mice are getting into his walls and he has spotted one going in through a weep hole on the outside a few days ago. So now Im thinking it might be a good diea to plug all of mine up with mortar of some kind. Might also help keep out the ants and other critters that would like to make a home inside the walls of my house.

thoughts ?

No..don't do it...though I don't think they should be that big. There are methods using stainless steel wool to plug them. Can't find the exact procedure...I'm sure someone will come up with the answer.

Faster:

Stanless Steel Wool

Copper "StuffIt"

Neater:

Weep Hole Vents

Rodents may be able to dislodge any of these.

While you are at it, you should plug up that pesky tailpipe on your car, nothing but pollution comes from it.
